Federal Firearms License (FFL) Holder

Your Legal Handgun Transfer Agent

Acme Pawn is a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. In addition to selling previously-owned guns, Acme Pawn serves as a transfer agent to assist its customers in obtaining handguns ordered via the Internet from licensed gun dealers within or outside Georgia.

Internet & Mail Order Handgun Transactions

Federal firearms laws prevent gun dealers from shipping handguns directly to individuals. Such purchases must be sent to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder in the local area, who completes the required paperwork and transfers the handgun to the buyer. All Acme Pawn Shops can serve as the agent in such transactions by receiving the handgun from the seller and completing the required paperwork. The fee for providing this service is $15 and you must know the dealer that the license is going to. The license will only be valid for the business listed on it and is not transferable. Anyone wishing to purchase or transfer a firearm must pay an additional fee of $10 for the mandatory background check, regardless if they hold a Georgia firearms license.

Some Internet Handgun Retailers

Any company not having our FFL on file must be provided with a copy of Acme Pawn's FFL before the handgun is shipped to our store. This copy must have an original ink signature.
